The report provides normalized operating expense metrics from 10 radiology groups representing more than 170 radiologists nationwide, offering clear, comparative insight into the financial structure of radiology practices. Operating expenses are evaluated as a percentage of both patient collections and total practice revenue, enabling consistent, apples‑to‑apples comparisons across the industry.

Coming in June 2026 - Cost of Physician Staffing Services Report

The report compiles pricing data included in government contracts for physician staffing services. Benchmarks include average, median, 25th, 75th, and 90th percentile hourly rates charged by commercial staffing companies for on-site physician staffing services and after-hours physician call coverage. Over 75 specialties and allied health fields will be represented.

Coming in July 2026 - BFMV Physician Leaders Compensation Report

The report reflects publicly reported information regarding amounts paid to physician directors and executives in a broad range of clinical specialties, types of organizations, and geographical regions using Internal Revenue Service (“IRS”) Form 990 data for nonprofit organizations across the country. Data are categorized by leadership position, revenue category, clinical specialty, organization type, and by state. Average, median, and 25th, 60th, 75th, and 90th percentile benchmarks are presented for each category.

Coming in July 2026 - BFMV Physician Call Coverage Burden & Compensation Survey Report

The report reflects data collected through our direct-to-physician approach across a wide range of specialties, geographies, demographic settings, and employers. The survey includes unique on-call burden and compensation information, much of which is unavailable from other survey resources, including the compensation (hourly and per 24-hour shift), weekend/holiday differentials, days on-call per month, average phone call volume per 24-hour shift, required in-person response time, average in-person visits per shift, average hours of telemedicine services provided while on call, and more.
