BFMV Founder's Reflection on Celebrating a Decade Anniversary

BuckheadFMV celebrates its 10th anniversary this month.

Reflecting on the last decade, no business school can teach you as much as growing a business from the ground up can. I was a management consultant for almost 20 years before I knew the pressure that comes with making payroll, negotiating a commercial lease, or bringing on a business partner. BFMV was a true bootstrap endeavor, started with personal finances and operating revenue. However, no entrepreneur does it alone. Thank you to my husband, Patrick, who had 100% confidence in me and provided a safety net and painfully honest advice along the way. Thank you to our current and former employees. Thank you to our outstanding clients – some of whom have worked with me for 30 years. I appreciate your support over the past decade and see a bright future for our independently owned valuation consulting firm.
